Hampton Inn & Suites Napa

The hotel has some good qualities, but there were a few issues during my stay. The fees for parking and pets felt high, and the pet accommodations were minimal. My first room had a sink problem, and the second had a running toilet and a shower with limited temperature control. Staff were responsive in addressing the issues, and with a bit more attention to maintenance and pricing, this could be a very solid stay.

The front desk staff were excellent. I had very minor issues and they solved them very quickly. Rooms were clean and spacious.

Very very good! Excellent value. I’d stay here again. Top floor, corner room very quiet, clean and huge- like a studio apartment!. Would be easy to stay here say a couple with a child or a few people traveling together as the kitchen and the bathroom area areas are separated and the small living room loveseat I think folds out not sure. Quick winter trip so didn’t use any amenities. Staff nicest ever. All sp easy and efficient. Right by my Mom’s retirement community. If you’re looking to be in the heart of the actual Vines you’re not quite in it here but you’re very close “down valley”, Not far from where you can catch the wine train and from Oxbow in the beginning of the Silverado Trail . And it’s a pretty good location for a bottle rock.

The rates per night are great compared to other lodges in the area. There is a movie theater and shopping close by. Also located 5 mins from Downton Napa. The service is average, the place seems understaffed during breakfast and the front desk staff seem bothered when needing assistance. We did appreciate the complimentary Coffee & Tea bar. There is also a pretty nice, albeit small, gym. As well as a pool and spa. Complimentary breakfast is included with your booking (while parking is an additional $18). The breakfast offerings include waffles, cereal, muffins, fruit, oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, bagels, and toast. Plus apple and orange juice, coffee and tea. The snack bar at front desk is extremely overpriced. Be sure to pack your own snacks, miscellaneous items ahead of time to save. During our stay there was a wedding, wish we knew ahead of time as navigating the hotel became more challenging because it was crowded. We left an item behind after check-out and housekeeping was nice enough to put it in lost and found for us. We would stay again. Napa Restaurant We Recommend: Con Amor Napa Bar We Recommend: 1331

We stayed in Rm 300, which faced the parking lot, theater, and distant hills. Not too bad of a view for city hotel. The room itself was clean and spacious. The bathroom was quite large, with plenty of hot water and good pressure in the glass enclosed shower. The sink faucet hand a large/ long faucet head which is always nice. Bed was a little soft for my taste and I did not care for unlockable barn style bathroom door that served a joint use purpose closet door. Overall these were minor inconveniences. Staff were very nice and breakfast was typical free morning food, but hit the spot. Parking was plentiful, but will cost you money as they charge for some reason. Location is also convenient for what we wanted to do.

The Hampton Inn by Hilton is a great addition to the many lodging options in Napa. This was our first stay at this location and found it to be a nice property. We stayed a total of 3 nights and their prices were of great value compared to other properties in the area. The rooms are spacious with large bathrooms that have big standalone showers. Rooms had fridges, sitting area and plenty of places to store your clothes. Breakfast is included with the price of the room and we found the breakfast to be some of the best we have experienced at any Hampton Inn in the United States. They have a pool, outdoor sitting area, gym and a small store on site. The hotel is within easy access to several restaurants, a movie theater and a huge health club. Parking can be a bitch and they missed cleaning our room 1 day. If not for those issues this property would have earned 5 stars. We visit Napa 2-3 times a year. We will definitely put the Hampton Inn & Suites on our short list of properties to stay.

Almost great! The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated to reflect Napa Valley vibes. I learned the hotel has been recently renovated. Unfortunately systems were down when we checked in and everyone waited hours to be checked in manually. That was very inconvenient and took precious time off our vacation plans. Other than that, it would have been all 5 stars. I will still consider this place in the future, I am a Hilton fan.

Overall I had a pretty good stay. I find the 1-Queen room to be spacious. Though there's only one luggage holder, I appreciate that there's two ottomans for other guests to put their luggage on if needed. I found the beds to be comfortable, though I could use firmer pillows. But I slept fine nonetheless. I also liked that they used wired shelves that pull out so your clothes don't smell like wood. The bathroom is also spacious with plenty of counter space. The shower pressure was fine. And the amenities were refillable, which I appreciate. I didn't use much of the shower amenities, just the hand soap and body lotion which were of good quality. I also appreciate that there was more than one towel hook! I find it so annoying when rooms that can accommodate 4 guests only have one hook the bathroom. The only negative comment I have about the bathroom is that the water bottles are there. I don't think that's sanitary... I highly doubt they are replaced if the last guest didn't use them. And if they are replaced, then that's a waste of water and plastic unless they use the water elsewhere. I just don't think any food/drink item should be near a toilet. The area around the hotel is okay. The rooms that face the west have a nice view of the park and river. I even saw a hot air balloon land right outside! The hotel is next to a strip mall where Carabao, which is the top 25 restaurants in Napa, is located. There's also a cute coffee shop, other eateries, and a movie theatre. The only issue is that it's poorly lit at night and there is are unhoused people nearby so it doesn't feel safe walking that short distance. I would probably stay somewhere close to downtown next time, but the Hampton is a good option if you're on a budget.
